Graphite Reel Seats
Fuji is considered to be the industry leader in the graphite reel seat market. Pacific Bay also produces a great product and you can find them on many production rods including some Seeker lines. You can compare the prices in the catalog and make decisions on what reel seat is right for you. It's as simple as picking from "Standard" or "Deluxe" and then picking the color of the hoods. Graphite reel seats are also available in a "trigger configuration when you are designing a rod for a baitcaster reel. Fuji also makes a "Heavy Duty" model (FPSH) which is completely graphite, including the hoods.
Aluminum Reel Seats
Aftco, Pac Bay and Perfection make the best heavy duty aluminum reel seats. This type of reel seat is a must on the heavy tuna rods intended for action using 50 lb test and above. Most of the manufacturers offer different colors and even color mixing which allows you to custom match your reelseat to your wrap colors. Pac Bay's newest reelseat the "Channel Lock" offers some great mechanical advantages as well as some awesome colors.
